I went to see the Arctic Monkeys on Wednesday just gone in Cardiff.
It was a fantastic night, I haven’t been to to a gig for a long time and it was just as I remembered it. They played excellently and sounded just as they do on CD, but better.
Halfway through though, the Arctic Monkeys are the type of band that don’t jump around, or move about much at all, it occurred to me what a strange thing to do, stand in a big room pushing and shoving a few thousand other people craning our necks to see four blokes standing about (well, three, because one of them was sat down).
Very enjoyable, though, and would recommend it to everybody.
