  I love the way that he becomes ‘BBC’s Jeremy Clarkson’ as soon as he gets in trouble. They’re trying to have it both ways, though; bashing New Labour for attacking Clarkson, and smearing the BBC by implication with Clarkson’s comments. Basically all the commenters on the stories know the drill – slag off the BBC, say it’s all PC gone mad, and you’ll get praised to the nines.
